At GBT Networks, we believe great procurement doesn't just save money it drives transformation, builds resilience, and creates lasting commercial advantage.

Founded by Stuart Farrell in 2026, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, GBT Networks is an independent procurement and commercial consultancy working with organisations across the technology, infrastructure, construction, data centre, and education sectors.

We operate as a trusted fractional resource embedding directly into our clients' businesses at Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) Executive level, without the cost or commitment of a full-time executive hire.

What We Do

We work alongside boards, finance teams and operational leaders to shape and deliver procurement strategy where it matters most. Whether that's renegotiating major supplier contracts, building a commercial framework from the ground up, supporting a complex ERP implementation, or developing a fleet and materials strategy for a fast-scaling infrastructure business we bring senior-level expertise, deployed at pace and to measurable effect.

Our work spans the full commercial lifecycle: strategy and category management, supplier selection and contract negotiation, MSA development, cost modelling and spend analytics, risk management, and sustainable procurement planning.

How We Work

We are deliberately small and deliberately focused. GBT Networks operates as a lean, senior-led consultancy — which means our clients always get the person they hired, not a junior team. We embed on-site where it adds value, work remotely where it doesn't, and structure our engagements to suit the client from short-term advisory projects to longer-term fractional partnerships.

Our Sectors

We have active experience across telecommunications and ISP infrastructure, data centre development and sustainable digital infrastructure, construction and civil engineering supply chains, international education and ERP-led transformation, and public sector procurement reform.

Why GBT Networks?

We started the business because we saw a gap in organisations that needed serious commercial leadership but weren't in a position to recruit it permanently and/or needed strategic oversight when designing large scale transformational programmes.

The fractional model works: you get the strategic capability, the credibility, and the delivery track record, for exactly as long as you need it. If you're facing a commercial challenge, a procurement gap, or a supplier relationship that isn't working - let's talk.
